Who this blog is for and what it hopes to achieve.

Hi everyone,

My name is Bryan Peppin; to be precise, Bryan Oliver Peppin, and like the proverbial Oliver, I always try to ask for more. Not too much, I assure you; just enough to satisfy my whims and fancies where my writing is concerned.

I have had a career in teaching that spanned forty years, but it was only two decades ago that I really began my tryst with the written word. I now have four published works and a host of other writings, including short-stories and essays. My focus has been on the Anglo-Indian community, to which I belong, but "belonging" is something that most people would like to achieve, but seldom get even close.

I hope to become a writer of some worth, even if it means only carving out a niche for myself and my word. That would be an achievement in itself and if I am able to pull it off, I will certainly not ask for more.

So you, my readers, friends, relatives and well-wishers, are an integral part of my vision and my mission. Thank you, one and all, in advance, for your support.
